THRILL OF THE ‘CHASE YOUTH ART COMPETITION

Students in grades K–8 are invited to participate in The Thrill of the ‘Chase Youth Art Competition, celebrating the excitement and tradition of steeplechase racing. Submissions will be accepted August 31 through September 5, with artwork displayed in the museum from September 7 through October 2. Winners will be announced during our free Community Picnic on September 19. Artwork pickup ends October 5. Rules & Registration >

COMMUNITY PICNIC

Join us for a FREE Community Picnic at the National Steeplechase Museum featuring food, games, and family-friendly activities! FOXHUNTING EXHIBIT OPENING

November 5, 2026 from 5 to 7:30 p.m.
Join us for the opening of Foxhunting in America: 100 Years of the Camden Hunt. This brand new exhibit celebrates the Camden Hunt’s centennial anniversary, having its first season in 1926. Stop by the museum between 5 and 7:30 p.m. on November 5 to enjoy drinks and refreshments, meet the museum staff, and learn about the links between foxhunting and steeplechase racing.
